Travelling and Education

Education is the acquisition of knowledge and experience and travelling os one of the best wys of discovering new things and receiving new imperssion. The education value of travelling has been recognized in every socity. In ancient time the travellers who went to far off and unknown hands were greatly honoured .They are the people who extended the frontiers of knowledge.
Travelling as a means of education has many important advantages in the first place. It combines study and pleasure. Our world is a vast and beautiful place and it is inhabited by different nations anfd races. It is Through travelling that one gains intimate understanding of the vast world of men .It gives one an insight into the nature of man.The costumes may differ, the languages may vary but the man is the same everywhere.Today when the world is in the grip of conflicts and wars every description,we need this understanding and insight more than ever.
Books no doubt, bring us knowledge of the East and the Weast, but they do not satisfy all of our curiosity.A whole book about Taj Mahal will not gratify and fascinate the mind as a single hour spent in that enchanting miracle of architecture will.
Travelling not only bringsknowledge but also leaves his city or country and travels in other lands has to depend on his own resources. He meets new situation very day and faces new problems. His mind becomes receptive and his senses sharp and alert;and nothing escapes his notice. He is his own adviser and his own master. This gives him self-reliance and self-confidence.
The knowledge and the experience we acquire through travelling is personal and first-hand .It becomes a permanent part of our minds. It cannnot be lost ot cannotbe forgotten.
In our age,the means of communication have made travelling easy, comfortable and pleasant.Students should be encouraged to travel,at least in thier own country his will creat a sense of unity among the people of various region. They will come to know and love their land.

Famouse Hollywood Cinma

Gwyneth Paltrow's hubby, Chris Martin, may get "furious" if she speaks about him publicly, but she's more than willing to open up about herself.
In a new interview with Vogue, the Oscar winner, 35, reveals she fell into a funk after the birth of her son in April 2006.
"You know, I had post[partum] depression after Moses," she tells the mag, which features her on the cover in a futuristic shot so retouched that her head no longer seems in sync with her body. "I didn't know I had it until after it was over. I just didn't know what was wrong with me."
Thankfully, Paltrow's symptoms weren't as severe as the ones experienced by the likes of Brooke Shields, who admitted to suicidal thoughts after the birth of her daughter, Rowan.
Still, Gwyneth says, "I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down ... I felt pessimistic."
(And while some of us tend to call that feeling "Monday," an estimated 80 percent of new moms experience some form of the baby blues.)
The actress, who is currently out pushing "Iron Man," believes forgoing a few of her usual wellness treatments, including acupuncture and massage, might have contributed to her gloomy mood.
"I do think it's important for mothers to take some time for themselves," she explains.
And even though she's posing for the fashion bible, Gwyn admits that in the post-Moses and Apple world, she's simplified her wardrobe to just a few essentials, such as minidresses and tights, jeans, a few coats and boots.
"It's like I want to eliminate all of the fuss," she figures. "I don't have time anymore to sit there and be like, 'What should I wear? What goes with this?'"
(That might explain how she recently ended up on the red carpet wearing a housecoat and Spartacus' used sandals.)
In other mommy news, Salma Hayek is gushing about the utter adorableness of her 6-month-old daughter, Valentina.

Salma Hayek attends a benefit for the art of Elysium in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Feb. 21
"Every night, I don't sleep, I watch her," the actress-producer reveals to the Chicago Tribune. "At some point during the night, she starts cracking up, she just laughs -- and it makes me so happy. Some babies snore, mine laughs."
Hayek, who is still breast-feeding, says motherhood has changed her priorities in life, but she declines to offer advice to other women dealing with dirty diapers and midnight feedings for the first time.
"I'm trying to do my best. I take it one day at a time," she sidesteps. "I wouldn't dare to try to tell a mom what to do because God knows when you have a baby, everyone tries to tell you what to do and they all contradict one another."
Salma, who is out promoting a partnership program between UNICEF and Pampers to provide mothers and babies in developing countries with tetanus vaccines (look for the blue "1 Pack = 1 Vaccine" stickers on the diaper packages), instead suggests the following: "Give yourself a break."
"I know for myself, I want to be supermom and work really hard, be very good at work, lose all the weight, and all the while you're not sleeping, and still putting a lot of effort into the relationship and being romantic," she says, referring to Valentina's father, French mogul Francois-Henri Pinault. "If I don't get it all right, sometimes I get frustrated."
What women need to keep in mind, rah-rahs Hayek, is that "you just did the most amazing thing a human being can do, which is give the opportunity for a new life. We should feel like queens and give ourselves a little bit more of a break."

Parks History

The first parks were land set aside for hunting by the aristocracy in medieval times. They would have walls or thick hedges around them to keep game in and other people out.

These game preserves evolved into the landscaped parks set around aristocratic houses from the sixteenth century onwards. These may have served as hunting grounds but they also proclaimed the owner's wealth and status. An aesthetic of landscape design began in these parks where the [[natural landscape]] was enhanced by landscape architects such as [[Capability Brown]]. As cities became crowded, the private hunting grounds became places for the public.

With the [[Industrial revolution]] parks took on a new meaning as areas set aside to preserve a sense of nature in the large industrial cities. Sporting activity came to be a major use for these urban parks. Areas of outstanding natural beauty were also set aside as [[national park]]s to prevent them being spoilt by uncontrolled development.

In the twentieth century a number of meanings arose which associated the "designed " landscape of a park with other uses such as [[business park]]s, [[theme park]]s and [[parkway]]s.
Man has alwayas been atracted by the beauty of nature.Green trees, colourful flower beautiful lakes and stream have always given him joy and happiness.
Tere was a time when the greature parts of this earth was covered whith forests. As man progressed he cleared the forest to make his villages and cities .As the population of human begings increased the frest began to recede. With the beginning of the industrial revolution bigger and bigger cities began to grow vast industrial estates began to spread on miles and miles of land which was once rich whith natural beauty. This is why some people who loved beauty and nature protested against the Industrial Revolution.
The parks and gardens are not only just thing to beauty.Of course they are beautiful and are sources of happiness..But they are also very neccesary for the physical health of human beings. They help in making the climate pleasant. They preseve the underground water. They attract rainfall. They purify the air.

MASSAGE OF BEAUTIES OF NATURE

Man loves for its beauties. This love is instinctive in him. Man has been living so close to nature since the beginning of creation. But man does not appreciticate the beauties of Nature. Nature is so beautiful .There is beauty in the smallest object as well as in the grand spectacle of nature. Nature is a beautiful and always beautiful “says a poet. There are million of beauties of nature scattered all around us. The objects Nature fill us with delight. They take us away from the care of life They amuse and entertain us.
The beauties of Nature have been an unfailing source of inspiration to the artist, to the scientist and also to the philosophere. The artist tries to imitate nature. He imparts colour to his creation from the nature sights.Poiet have sung the peace and solace that Nature gives them in hour of despair. We should enjoy the beauties of Nature.

TRAVELLING AFTER FIFTY YEAR

Travelling has become much more common and comfort than it was fifty year ago.Inumense progress will be mad during the next fifty year. We are entering a man age new where atomic power is replacing coal fuel oil and clectricity. One can foresee that within the coming half century atomic will be used every field of life. Like all other things traveling will also undergo a revolutionary change.
Air travel being the fastest mean of communication will receive the greatest attention of the scientist. Such aircraft will have been built that will go round the earth in few hours.Aeroplanes will be as common as buses are these days. They will carry hundred of persons at a time Huge goods-carriers will transport luggage speedily. With the improvement in radar system air travel will become completely safe. Space travel will have become common by that time. Man will have reached beyond the moon Interplanetary flight will be frequent it .They will go to the moon the Mars or any other planet to enjoy a picnic or have a joy red with their friends.
The helicopter industry will have made great progress. The rich people will have helicopter of their own. They will use them as freely as they uses cars. small lawn in front of the house will serve for landing and taking off. In view of the great development in air travel the future of railway and steamers seems to be dark in the time to come. The rich people will prefer air travel to any other means of transport to save time Railways and steamer companies will lose most of their rich customers. In order to make the journey attractive, the will effect great reforms. The journey by train or steamer will be verycomfortable.he present lower class compartment will have all the facilities which are available only in upper classes these days. There will be great improvement in the speed of train and steamers which will in all probability be driven by atomic power .he will run at very great speed without much danger of accidents. he togas and bullock carts will be the things of past Every town and village will have been linked by fast moving buses.

TRAVELLING NOW AND THE PAST

In the past ,traveling was nothing less than a daring adventuries. There were no roads. There was none of the mechanical transport we have now. People traveled on foot. They had face all sorts of dangers from the weather the wild beasts and the robbers. Mast people therefore did not like to go away from their villages. Only those who were adventurous set out on a long journey. They traveled in groups.
When man succeeded in training the four foot animals like the horse and the camel, traveling became slightly comfortable .Still it was a dangerous undertaking. Only a new venture out of their homes .In those days it was also very difficulty to transport goods from one place to another. In earliest days, man was his own beast of burden. He carried his load on his head or back. Later horses and other such animals were used for this purpose. But the man and the animals could not carry very heavy loads from one place to another.
Now people living in any part to a country can travel to any other part in comfort. Every country has a network to railways. A small sum of money is required to go from one corner of the country to the other. If your business is more urget. You can travel by an aeroplane.A plane will need only a couple of days to fly round the whole world. The travel by sea also has become more comfortable, swift and secure than before Giant steamers have replaced the ancient boat and sailing ships.

GLOBAL PIATFORAM OF LUXURY TRAVEL

Voyages is a leading Media 2.0 business that produces high quality programming on luxury travel and the lifestyle interests that are associated with travel. These interests include wellness, adventure, gourmet & wine, shopping, romance, and competition (diving, golf, skiing, etc).

Voyages’ strategy is to establish a global platform for luxury travel marketing in the six source markets that account for 80% of the world’s high value tourism. These are the US, Germany, United Kingdom, India, China and Japan. Our focus is exclusively on the luxury traveler - an elite group of consumers with above average income, education and comfort with technology and thus an important segment for advertisers.

Like other Media 2.0 businesses, we recognize the importance that “social computing” or “social media” plays in the emerging competitive landscape. Our “vertical” focus on luxury travel allows us to offer consumers content that is highly relevant and thus far more valuable to them then untargeted “mass media”. Our business strategies leverage technology to open up the means of content production to the consumer and so leverage information (“meta-data”) to reveal expectations, preferences and needs of our core audience.

We believe that the established social networking sites are too “mass” and that consumers (and the advertisers that want to reach then) will gravitate to smaller, more exclusive, deeply engaged communities built on common interests. We are the early mover in this market.

A Picnic Party With Friends

Last month my cousin came from London. He was very eager to see the beautiful place of Lahore.I though that a visit to the beautiful Moghal Gardens,Shalamar Would be an exellent beginning to the sight seeing tour of Lahore.I invited tow of my friends and one fine morning we went to the garden. We had paced a big lunch basket. My friend Shafique had his violin with. One our way we bought some fruit and ice-cream frome the baza. The sky was overcast but not heavily. It was an ideal day for a picnic.A gust of cool and fresh air greeted us as we entered the main gate of the Shalamar gardens.A great number of picnickers were there. They had spread thier carpets and mats all over the place and put thier things there now they were walking in the garden.A large number of children were runing about in every corner ,shouting and laughing and holding muliti-coloured baloons in thier hands. After some time ,we found a small lawn in a corner of the garden which was still unoccupied. So we put our things there.A garden watchman promised us to look after our things in our absence.
